Standards
Industrial sodium chlorite in China is made to HG/T 3250. There is a 2010 edition and a 2023 edition, and quotations still arrive citing the older one. Here is why that detail is not pedantry.

HG/T 3250 is the Chinese industry standard for industrial sodium chlorite. Gaoyuan organised and compiled the 2023 revision, after taking part in drafting the 2010 edition. That is the plain statement of our involvement, and it is the reason we pay attention to which edition a document cites.
When you collect quotations from several Chinese suppliers, the standard number is usually printed somewhere in the specification block. It is easy to skim past. But an edition number tells you something a price cannot: whether the supplier's documentation has been kept current, or whether their specification sheet was written once and copied forward.
We still see HG/T 3250-2010 quoted in 2026. Sometimes that is a supplier whose quality documents genuinely have not been revisited. Sometimes it is a trading company reusing a manufacturer's old sheet without knowing the difference. Either way it tells you how much scrutiny the rest of that document has had.
What the standard governs is the definition of the product and the test methods used to verify it — in other words, the common language that lets a buyer in one country and a plant in another agree on what was shipped. That is why the edition matters more than it looks: two suppliers quoting against different editions are not necessarily quoting the same thing.
We are not going to reproduce the clause-by-clause changes here. The standard is a controlled document and the right way to read it is to obtain it, not to take a supplier's summary of it. What we will do is tell you which edition a given batch was produced and tested against, and send the certificate of analysis that corresponds to it.
A related point on certification, since the two get conflated. A production standard is not the same as a market approval. Our sodium chlorite is listed on the United States inventory of drinking water treatment chemicals under NSF International, and registered under EU REACH for the European market. Those cover different territories and neither substitutes for the other, and neither of them is HG/T 3250. When you ask for "the certificates", tell us the destination market — otherwise we will send you documents that do not help you clear customs.
If you want to check our management-system certification independently rather than take a scan at face value, the references are ISO 9001 10423Q01965R1M, ISO 14001 10423E01271R1M and ISO 45001 10423S01149R0M, all issued by Shandong Seatone International Certification Co., Ltd. under CNAS accreditation. Those numbers are on our quality page precisely so they can be verified with the issuing body.

A COA is not a marketing document. It is a statement about one batch, and it is only useful if you know which questions it answers and which it does not.
Net weights, transport classification and the documents that have to agree with each other. Written for the person who has to book the freight, not for the person who signs the contract.
